Who is a possible candidate for the operation?
Theoretically every person that has a refractive abnormality may undergo corrective surgery (this amounts to 40-45% of the population, having consulted an ophthalmologist and the necessary indications are present. The following groups may also undergo surgery:
- People who, for some reason, do not wish or cannot wear glasses
(airline pilots, athletes, firemen, policemen etc.) or those who have problems
with
their contact lenses.
- People who have reached the age of 18 and their refraction remains stable
in the last year.
- Those people who are interested in their appearance and wish to have good
quality vision without having to depend on glasses or contact lenses for this.
